HIMON: DIGITALIZING GLOBAL FREIGHT. Building strong partnerships is key to our scalable model. We are seeking a senior leader to oversee and expand our global network of ocean, air, and ground carriers.

ROLE SUMMARY

This executive role is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with major global carriers, negotiating favorable contract terms, and ensuring carrier service level agreements (SLAs) align with Himon's quality standards. The Head of Carrier Relations will drive procurement strategy, focusing on securing capacity, optimizing pricing, and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute the global carrier procurement strategy across ocean, road, and rail transport modes.

• Lead all high-stakes contract negotiations, focusing on rates, volume commitments, and service guarantees.

• Monitor carrier performance against defined SLAs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with the Product team to integrate carrier data and APIs seamlessly into the Himon platform.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Carrier Procurement, Sourcing, or Commercial Management in global logistics.

• Deep established relationships with major global ocean and/or rail carriers.

• Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar contracts and achieving significant cost savings.

• Exceptional negotiation, strategic planning, and presentation skills.
